Cesme / Alacati
Welcome to the Alacati Marina - Frankonia's third base
Port Alacati is on the Turkish coast on the Cesme peninsula, 78 km south of Izmir.
In summer, the bay and its surroundings, as well as the route north to Ayvalik and the Greek islands of Lesvos and Chios are a paradise for windsurfers and yacht enthusiasts.
About 3 km inland is the actual town of Alacati, an ancient fishing village famous for its architecture and charm.
Alacati and the towns of Llica, Cesme and Dalyanköy have ample restaurants, cafés and shops and Saturday is market day. Izmir airport is around 45 minutes away.
The ancient town of Cesme can be reached by minibus in around 20 minutes. The old caravanserai (inn for travelers to seek shelter) as well as a castle and a museum make an excursion here well worthwhile.
Alacati Marina offers all the services and facilities one could expect from a modern marina. Water and electricity are available on the quay, there's technical support, restaurants, wireless internet and the toilets and showers are clean.
