Bodrum

Port of departure is Bodrum, ancient Halikarnassos. Travel time from Bodrum airport to Bodrum takes between 30 and 45 min depending on traffic, and about 2.5 hours from Izmir airport. Bodrum is one of the oldest and most attractive Turkish coastal cities. Even the Turks themselves call it the Saint Tropez of Turkey as it's a meeting point for natives as well as high flyers from afar.

Bodrum is dominated by Saint Peter's Castle, which was handed over without resistance when the Ottomans captured Rhodes, so it's almost intact. The castle is home to the highly interesting Museum of Underwater Archaeology, containing artefacts dating as far back as 3000 years. Boredom is certainly not on the menu in this city. There's something for everyone, from the noble Disco Halikarnas to simple Turkish tea houses, as well as countless fine restaurants, bars and cafés. Furthermore, the old bazaar in the town centre has more than 1,200 dealers, offering souvenirs, clothes, gold, carpets and much more. If you fancy a bit of shopping, then bartering is obligatory, as any dealer would be offended if you were to pay the initial asking price.

Milta Marina

Milta Marina, Bodrum

Our yachts are berthed in the Milta-Marina. It was privatised in 1997 and fully renovated in 2000. Since then, it has been the most modern and most beautiful marina of its kind in Turkey. Even the most sophisticated marinas of the western Mediterranean have absolutely nothing on ours.

Turkish, German, English and French are all spoken at the reception. Facilities such as toilets, showers and jetties are cleaned on a daily basis and staff keep a close eye on them 24 hours a day. A service boat will greet you on your arrival at the marina, advise you of your berth and assist you with mooring and tying of your stern lines.
