Equipment list for Turkish based yachts

Ground tackle

Anchor on 60m chain, colour-marked every 10m. The second anchor available is a Brittany on 10m of chain and 40m line. Electric anchor winch.

Lines

In the locker there are 2 each of 15m, 20m and 40m mooring lines. The end of the lines are colour coded according to their lengths.

Motors and transmission

Volvo Penta and Sailbox diesel motors. Propeller rotates anti-clockwise.

Life raft, life-jackets and safety equipment

Life rafts by Plastimo for use within reach of the shore are easily accessible from the locker or in the on-deck container. The automatic Plastimo life vests (manufactured from 2002 onwards) come equipped with a life belt. Life jackets for children are available at the base on request. Life rafts are serviced annually by a specialist firm. 3 fire extinguishers, a horseshoe life belt with light emitter, a set of emergency flare signals and a Lifeline Guidance System complete the safety equipment.

Navigation

All our yachts are equipped with RAYTHEON chart plotters and GPS. Hand bearing compass, CB radio, wind gauge, depth sounder, sum log and autopilot are standard, as well as a complete set of maps, harbour handbooks and lighthouse lists. Chart dividers, course plotting triangles, pencils, erasers, notebooks, log books, pens, marine binoculars, torches, halogen headlamps, short wave radio and electronic weather station are all on board.

Entertainment

Car radio with CD player, outdoor speakers and short wave radio.

Pantry

The pantry is stocked with thermos flasks, knife block, small and large cutting boards, various sizes of cooking pots, frying pans, pasta pots, air-tight tubs, tin opener, corkscrew, skimming spoon, ladle, coffee filter, lemon squeezer, vegetable peeler, salt and pepper mills, egg breaker, glasses, cups, plates, cutlery, whisk, spaghetti tongs, garlic press and much more.
There is also a 2-ring gas cooker, an oven and a fridge.

Toilets and showers

In yachts with 2 toilets, the aft toilet is equipped with a sewage tank. Disposal is via a flood valve or electric pump. Every vessel has at least one inner shower and one cockpit shower with hot and cold water.

Toolbox, spare parts box, cutter, first aid box, foghorn, diesel cans, hose and adapter, electric cable and adapter for land use, funnel, boathooks, deck scrubber, clothes pegs, bosun's chair, rubber dinghy, user manuals, district information with cruise tips, cockpit table and spare motor oil.
